MICHAEL FREUND: Ezekiel is commanded by God to take two sticks. On one, he is to write "For Judah," and on the other "For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim." Then comes the crucial instruction: "Bring them together into one stick so that they become one in your hand" (37:17). Ezekiel's vision is not one of uniformity. The two sticks do not cease to be what they are. Judah remains Judah; Joseph remains Joseph. Unity does not erase difference – it sanctifies and elevates it by placing it within a larger shared destiny.

Ketriel Blad: In other words, in order for a total restoration to take place, the restored Ephraimites from among the nations will have to become Jewish, in the legal sense of the word, thus accepting the Jewish authorities and becoming obedient to Jewish halachah. In the prophecy of Ezekiel 37:19 the Hebrew text can be understood as HaShem giving Yehuda's stick the function of being over Ephraim's stick and this way both sticks will become one. This teaches us that the Ephraimite movement that comes from heaven cannot rise apart from the Jewish people without submission to the Jewish leaders' authority. This is not for all the gentiles.

Richard Javad Heydarian: Being 100 percent Filipino and 100 percent Iranian has been a blessing coupled with a profound responsibility, to know as much as I can about both nationalities. That goal has led me to the political ferment in both Tehran and Manila, giving me a unique vantage point from two distant points on the globe to assess the value of elections to a people’s aspirations. I am an observer with a stake in two nations so different yet also so very much alike.

Diana Rivera: The first time I ever experienced a loss, was when I buried my brother, Johnny.

Diana Rivera: I'm going back to college

Diane Rivera: He told us that Johnny was dead. I ran to my room and cried with an anguish and pain I had never felt before. I lost my best friend, my role model, my hero. I screamed in agony over his death. I cried the tears of a little girl who felt lost and alone in the world, with parents who did not understand her. But it hadn’t sunk it yet.
I walked in the room, and almost fell over from the tears and the grief. My big brother was gone. It all sunk in. The loss was almost unbearable. No more would he come in and ask me how school was and tell me to graduate and go to college. He was gone, and nothing I could do would ever bring him back.

||What do you think of an Asian-Filipino and Turkish marriage?||

Guo Bingdi: More services and facilities customized for Chinese tourists are needed. There aren’t enough professional tour guides in Turkey that can introduce their culture and history fluently and precisely in Chinese. More air flights between the two countries are also very important.

justme7: My cousin met a Turkish guy on line (not in a dating site) they were just chatting away at first and then suddenly the Turkish guy expressed his feelings to my cousin. Well she told him that they have to meet so this Turkish guy came to the US just to meet her but they never had the opportunity because in order to come here, he had to get a working visa. He has been busy like crazy but he calls her everyday. My cousin I guess though she denies it…is falling for him because of his effort to see her. He got into a lot of things because he really wanted to meet my cousin he was almost fired because he kept on telling his boss to go where my cousin lives. He works in another state. the guy even cried on the phone because he was not allowed several times to take a break and meet my cousin (I was eavesdropping coz we share an apartment hahaha). I even talk to him on the phone sometimes, I feel like he is a great guy but I have this fear about Turkish men because of their reputation of being wife beaters etc…
My cousin usually put him on speaker phone sometimes because she multi tasks a lot and there were several occasions when i can hear their conversations. and he is really serious about her. He was talking to her about him working hard so that they can buy a house before they get married and my cousin doesn’t say yes or no, she just laighs. He is not a Muslim so I saw and heard them pray together on the phone. I know I am a very bad person coz i have been eavesdropping. I’ve been observing my cousin coz i was just concerned that she will get hurt.
they even had a conversation (I was with her, i was not eavesdropping that time-maybe she knew that I have been doing it anyways) about each others’ national stereotypes. i heard my cousin asking him about wife beating and he said that he knows about it, he feels shame about that stereotype but he said that he is different. His father or brothers never hurt their wives. And he also asked my cousin about why a lot of Filipino ladies want to sell themselves for money in the internet and in clubs and my cousin explained that it is not all the same. They both have these cultural discussions and then they explain and then they accept each other.
what do ya think? to Asians and Turkish people out there…they will meet this weekend.. do you think it will work out? Is he really that serious? Coz you know I love my cousin but i am afraid that I will be mending her broken heart if something will go wrong. It happened before and I was so behind my work because she is very emotional. thanks. Please do not be rude in your answers.

Vanessa Hidary also known as The Hebrew Mamita (@HebrewMamita): Good Morning Friends. On this Passover, please lets us reflect on this with our families. Have a beautiful holiday.
"You shall not oppress the stranger, for you know the heart of a stranger, seeing that you were strangers in the land of Egypt" (Exodus 23:9).
Chag Sameach Pesach!

Chaim Richman:What's the Passover offering got to do with the Iranian nuclear deal?

Daniel Jacob Radcliffe: I don’t have Twitter and I’m not on Facebook. I think, that makes things a lot easier because if you go on Twitter and tell everybody what you’re doing ~ moment to moment ~ and then claim you want a private life, no one’s going to take that request seriously.

Nun-Kosher For Passover

Nuclear Weapons.
Nun-Kosher For Passover:
Northern Hemisphere.
Bat Noon: I’m concerned, Devorah. Allowing Egypt, Jordan, and Sa’udi Arabia to develop Nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction won’t be tolerated. That IS precisely what Israel IS doing with Iran: tolerating their development of Nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction. The entire Northern Hemisphere IS not exempt from Severities either, since they Buy und Sell Nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction. "Deal" IS cognate of "Drug Dealers" IE Criminals to be prosecuted and judged harshly. Are Nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction kosher for Passover? That IS A rhetorical inquiry. Nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction are not kosher, but shall be fun to witness their lift off, en masse, on that occasion. Happy Passover, reguard less.

Neil Asher Silberman, Israel Finkelstein, David Ussishkin, and Baruch Halpern: The Book of Joshua (12:21) specifically mentions the defeat of the king of Megiddo and the allotment of his territory to the tribe of Manasseh;

JACQUELINE SCHAALJE: Beit Shean is mentioned as belonging to the conquered area of the Israelite tribe of Manasseh

NETANYA MUNICIPALITY: thanks to the Lord for giving them {Netan~ya, lot. "gift of God"} the ability to continue the legacy of the 12 tribes who settled in the Land of Israel, and particularly of the half~tribe of Manasseh, which settled in the region.
