Ketriel Blad: In other words, in order for a total restoration to take place, the restored Ephraimites from among the nations will have to become Jewish, in the legal sense of the word, thus accepting the Jewish authorities and becoming obedient to Jewish halachah. In the prophecy of Ezekiel 37:19 the Hebrew text can be understood as HaShem giving Yehuda's stick the function of being over Ephraim's stick and this way both sticks will become one. This teaches us that the Ephraimite movement that comes from heaven cannot rise apart from the Jewish people without submission to the Jewish leaders' authority. This is not for all the gentiles.

BATSHEVA SHULMAN: The State of Israel has launched a major government-led initiative to complete the aliyah and family reunification of the Bnei Menashe community, marking a shift from privately run efforts to full state responsibility.The project, known as Operation Kanfei Shahar (Wings of Dawn), is being coordinated by the Aliyah and Integration Ministry in partnership with the Jewish Agency, the Chief Rabbinate, the conversion system (Ma’arach Hagiyur), and multiple government ministries. ✈️

While Bnei Menashe in Israel are comprised of Indian Jews from Manipur and Mizoram, one of my hobbies is integrating Bnei Menashe East of the Jordan River from Bangladesh, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, The Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam into Jewish Consciousness. I believe, the covenantal blessings inherent in the tribe of Manasseh extends to Ingrafted Christians from Southeast Asia.

Daniel Korobkin: The point is that Menashe possessed this ability to forgive and forget, to move on from the past and to view everything, even the adversities that one has suffered at the hands of others, to be part of the Divine plan and ultimately of benefit to oneself. This is probably the most important trait that one needs in order to be a bridge-builder and reconciler. One has to look past previous offenses and transgressions in order to create reconciliation and peace between two factions. This is why Menashe was chosen to be the tribe to create the bridge between both sides of the Jordan.
I've wrestled with the Tribal origins of Filipin@ Jews, but the consensus is that Filipin@ Jews (as well as Southeast Asians, besides Bangladeshis, Himalayan Tibetans, and Mongolians) are Bnei Menashe (as well as Descendants of Yosef), despite their Sephardic connection. Filipin@s look nothing like Saudis, who are descendants of Midian and Kenites (who settled in Judah).
