This teaches us that the Ephraimite movement that comes from heaven cannot rise apart from the Jewish people without submission to the Jewish leaders' authority. This is not for all the gentiles.

I've wrestled with the Tribal origins of Filipin@ Jews, but the consensus is that Filipin@ Jews (as well as Southeast Asians, besides Bangladeshis, Himalayan Tibetans, and Mongolians) are Bnei Menashe (as well as Descendants of Yosef), despite their Sephardic connection. Filipin@s look nothing like Saudis, who are descendants of Midian and Kenites (who settled in Judah).
