MICHAEL FREUND: Ezekiel is commanded by God to take two sticks. On one, he is to write "For Judah," and on the other "For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim." Then comes the crucial instruction: "Bring them together into one stick so that they become one in your hand" (37:17). Ezekiel's vision is not one of uniformity. The two sticks do not cease to be what they are. Judah remains Judah; Joseph remains Joseph. Unity does not erase difference – it sanctifies and elevates it by placing it within a larger shared destiny.

Ketriel Blad: In other words, in order for a total restoration to take place, the restored Ephraimites from among the nations will have to become Jewish, in the legal sense of the word, thus accepting the Jewish authorities and becoming obedient to Jewish halachah. In the prophecy of Ezekiel 37:19 the Hebrew text can be understood as HaShem giving Yehuda's stick the function of being over Ephraim's stick and this way both sticks will become one. This teaches us that the Ephraimite movement that comes from heaven cannot rise apart from the Jewish people without submission to the Jewish leaders' authority. This is not for all the gentiles.

Yehuda HaKohen: They were told to go up in the matter of the Spies

Brent Weinbach: I always preface the Game by saying, "All right, remember, now, this is just a Game and Anything Goes, when we play this Game. Are you Guys ready? All right, everyone, close your eyes." It’s randomly assigned Who’s on which team and the spies will open their eyes, so we’ll see Who the spies are, and they’ll close their eyes; and everyone will open their eyes so that the Good Guys don’t know Who the spies are. They don’t know anything. All they know is they’re Good. That’s it. Well, it is ~ partially ~ deduction, but it’s a Deception Game. I mean, this is just a Lying Game, basically, but, more importantly than Lying to People, it’s about gaining People’s trust. That’s what it’s really about. Maybe, it’s the Way I look, you know: I think, I have a Shady Face, maybe? Sometimes, I Get a knife and I, kind of, flash the reflection of the Light in someone’s face, you know? Within a short Period of time, you really Get to know People - through Board Games. That’s a really cool thing about ET and, also, you start to form strong bonds with People playing Bored Games, but this Game is heart-wrenching. It’s very heart-wrenching and the Game plays on really delicate Human Behaviour and that’s the thing about playing the Game IS I don’t really like playing the Game as the Liar. I like playing the Game as the Good Guy because I like the challenge of trying to win somebody over.

I saw the news footage of the American Captain apologizing to Iran and cried laughing. The photos of the Buff Americans on their knees with their hands behind their heads ~ and eating Apples and pomegranates on Persian carpets no less ~ makes Hypocritical Americans look Defeated. Plus, Iran forced the American Dyke to don a Hijab. Surrendering to Haman is not what Y'all are supposed to do. How Shameful!

Batya Medad: The other night at work I noticed an Arab family, parents and daughter taking lots of pictures when entering Rami Levy. By the time I got my camera ready, they were finishing, so I only got one blurred shot.

Later on they came into the shoe store where I was working and got so friendly, even took more photos. I'm probably in some of them. They seemed so happy to be there in Yafiz and Rami Levy, Sha'ar Binyamin. I honestly couldn't figure out why. They aren't the first Arabs I've seen taking selfies and photos of their family/group/friends in the stores and shopping center. But I've never seen such enthusiasm.
Any guesses?

Anonymous: I reside in a town called Ramapo formerly known as Ramapoc. A neighbor named Rachel recently married. Her smile is even more severe. She hasn't changed her profile photo on Facebook featuring her mom and their Police Officer Friends. And her husband is bald, but harmless, I suppose.
I don't know. I've bin thinking about selfies and how intrusive Paparazzi are with high profile Celebrities. The contrast isn't that wide a Gulf, but I lean toward selfies being more appropriate, although excessive selfies can border on Intoxication. So much focus on the ego can be Dangerous to the self, so to speak.
I've bin experimenting on zero visibility and archiving what everybody else seems to be focused on. If I do take a selfie, it's of me on the screen of a discarded television monitor. I've photographed about two dozen in the last few years. They haven't been picked up and remain sitting on the yards of neighbors, even through winter seasons. I won't complain about the lack of sanitation workers though, unlike nearby Lebanon, I heard.
That woman doesn't appear observant. The Police down south are very color-sensitive and have very sharp eye-coordination. If anything, they're harmless wolves that require stricter discipline.
I'm old school: i loathed self-promotion
American Youth are Obsessed with Selfies in Bathrooms, btw
also, I expect an increase in orderly Parsim Aliyah, emphasis on the mundane bureaucratic aspects
Persian Olim should be considered Bene Benyamin

She's married to an Israeli, now, and Mothering
Spies aren't as blatant; arrogant, perhaps, but not intelligent to be photographing so openly. It's what tourists do. It's what gets journalists into trouble in Syria:
I would expect so much enthusiasm from new townies, the further away from the City one travels
i expect this blog to gain further, now that Iran has somehow gotten to be on the Dreidel Nations' Better side

Patrick: DON’T DO SPIRALS, UNLESS YOU’RE GOOD AT SPIRALS. GIVE ME A MIRAI OR CAROLINE ZHANG SPIRAL, ANY DAY, BUT POLINA AND GRACIE SHOULD STOP DOING THEM.

But in battalions.
Chaim Richman: These men were commanded to untie ET; the spies had a mission to untie that knot and bring the light out. The Jewish People hold the key to the lock and for whom TheLand is waiting for them to care… and so it is, today:

Helen Freedman: Just as the ten spies – great leaders of their tribes – were concerned about being seen as grasshoppers in the eyes of others, so today’s leadership seems concerned about how they are perceived. This is a serious mistake. Turning to false gods can only lead to disaster.

Neil Asher Silberman, Israel Finkelstein, David Ussishkin, and Baruch Halpern: The Book of Joshua (12:21) specifically mentions the defeat of the king of Megiddo and the allotment of his territory to the tribe of Manasseh;

JACQUELINE SCHAALJE: Beit Shean is mentioned as belonging to the conquered area of the Israelite tribe of Manasseh

NETANYA MUNICIPALITY: thanks to the Lord for giving them {Netan~ya, lot. "gift of God"} the ability to continue the legacy of the 12 tribes who settled in the Land of Israel, and particularly of the half~tribe of Manasseh, which settled in the region.

Stephen Epstein: Some went down the Mekong River into Vietnam, the Philippines, Siam, Thailand and Malaysia, while some of the Israelites moved to Burma and west to India.
