MICHAEL FREUND: Ezekiel is commanded by God to take two sticks. On one, he is to write "For Judah," and on the other "For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim." Then comes the crucial instruction: "Bring them together into one stick so that they become one in your hand" (37:17). Ezekiel's vision is not one of uniformity. The two sticks do not cease to be what they are. Judah remains Judah; Joseph remains Joseph. Unity does not erase difference – it sanctifies and elevates it by placing it within a larger shared destiny.

Ketriel Blad: In other words, in order for a total restoration to take place, the restored Ephraimites from among the nations will have to become Jewish, in the legal sense of the word, thus accepting the Jewish authorities and becoming obedient to Jewish halachah. In the prophecy of Ezekiel 37:19 the Hebrew text can be understood as HaShem giving Yehuda's stick the function of being over Ephraim's stick and this way both sticks will become one. This teaches us that the Ephraimite movement that comes from heaven cannot rise apart from the Jewish people without submission to the Jewish leaders' authority. This is not for all the gentiles.

what’s up to all my fam, it’s bambu here! if you’re reading this message, you’re one step away from being a part of something truly special: a people-powered project that we are offering exclusively through this kickstarter campaign.
more so than my militant, provocatory lyrics and avid bashing of the status quo, i’m known for making quality music and visuals on a shoestring budget. so imagine cutting straight to the chase and contributing to a project that is powered by people like you! my career as an artist has always relied on giving the community what it wants, and oftentimes, what they may not be aware they need. what the community needs is music that will uplift and challenge us, without commercial interference. i know how much a dollar can stretch when circulated through the right channels, and this is the first campaign where change is truly in your hands.
with your contribution, you will witness the actual making of a project that will guarantee exclusive content directly from the studio sessions, live video streaming, “first listens” and a chance to get up-close-and-personal with my creative process. you’ll travel with bambu and dj phatrick to meet actual workers - the everyday heroes that inspire my music the most. the people instead of recording music the old-fashioned way and relying on outdated avenues to promote, you’ll actually influence the course of production with your input and make every decision count because it wouldn’t be possible without you!
each reward package is thoughtfully assembled with merchandise that you can only find here.
from working with dj muggs as part of the soul assassins collective, to freestyling on rhymesayers radio with slug, evidence and brother ali, i’m proud to share another one of my “firsts” with you - a party worker campaign that is truly inclusive of all those who support me, so when you hold that album in your hands, you’ll truly know the work it took to get there because you’ll be there every step of the way.
